Abdulharis.ac.id, London – Fatoni University, Thailand, is excited to announce that it will host the International Conference on Interdisciplinary Educational Studies in Southeast Asia (ICIESSEA) on 25 September 2023.
The conference is a collaborative program between Southeast Asia Academic Mobility (SEAAM), STIA Abdul Haris, and Fatoni University.
Southeast Asia Academic Mobility (SEAAM) is a network of higher education institutions in Southeast Asia that aims to promote academic mobility and exchange among students, faculty, and staff. SEAAM facilitates the development of joint programs, courses, research projects, and publications among its members and partners.
SEAAM also organizes annual conferences and workshops on various topics related to education in Southeast Asia.
The conference aims to showcase the latest research and best practices in education in Southeast Asia, as well as to foster networking and collaboration among scholars, educators, students, and practitioners from various disciplines.
The conference theme is “Interdisciplinary Approaches to Enhance Quality Education in Southeast Asia”.
According to Ismail Suardi Wekke, the scientific committee of SEAAM and the chairman of STIA Abdul Haris, “this ICIESSEA is a part of student mobility conducted since 2016 and every year the student mobility still going on. The conference will provide a valuable opportunity for students to present their research findings, exchange ideas, and learn from each other.”
“This coming Student Mobility is the opportunity to restart our connection post pandemic situation,” Ismail said in London, Thursday, 11 May 2023.
The conference will feature keynote speeches by renowned experts in the field of education, plenary sessions by distinguished speakers from different countries and institutions, parallel sessions by selected presenters from various disciplines and topics, poster presentations by innovative researchers and practitioners, and cultural activities by local performers and artists.
The conference expects to attract participants from Southeast Asia and beyond, who will share their insights, experiences, and findings on the current and emerging issues in education in the region. The conference will also provide opportunities for participants to explore the rich culture and history of Fatoni University and Thailand.
